How exactly do you check that "free" works....since it's free'd haha? I know we can check Malloc to make sure it doesn't return a null but Im not sure how you would make sure "free" works

Mine is being done in a hash table not a tree, would it still be the same "assumption"

There is also no need for me to pass either the array or pointer i'd guess either. Since on a normal linked list print function you are usually passing the HEAD pointer. But in this case the array is the head pointer which is global correct?

Seems it might be a good idea to make sure the word is set to all lowercase first I would imagine before storing it (and subsequently do the same when reading in the script for spellchecking i'd imagine)

Thanks, and I have the char array set to LENGTH+1 (for the null terminator) BUT! I realize I don't have it for the WORD variable further down! Nice catch! It does compile, but I really have no way to test right now if it loaded. And Yeah im unsure of a good case for it to return true just yet....I guess if it completes reading in the file?
