Hello I would like to ask a question regarding the grading system.

if you have to do an assignment and you do most of it correct and you get all greens in check50. but still the program is not 100% as it should be , do you get for example a grade like 0.80/1.0 or you get 0.0/1.0? and if you get something like 0.80 , then whats the minimum grade you need in order to pass an assignment.

The minimum you need in order to pass is 0.60 per assignment.

If your code passes check50, that means that it's 100% the way it should be.

  • thanks for the answer. So style50 doesnt matter at all ? and what about the short forms ? do they even count in the grade ? does someoe check those form ?

  • I don't know if someone checks them or not, but you need to submit them. At least until last year, if you hadn't submitted them, the pset would not be graded. style50 is not considered for grading for cs50x students.
