CS50/Pset3/Music, timed out while waiting for program to exit, How to debug?

Question

Something goind wrong in the frequency function and i don't know how to debug with these many files of the programm to allocate the problem. i've made a seprate test file to just test the frequency function and it works well. So please could you tell me how to debug and what may cause this problem?

You are being passed note as an argument to the function. Why are you then asking the user to give you a note to override the one you've already been given? This is why check50 is timing out, because the program is not meant to be prompting for a note.
