I'm new here.

I'm solving the Outdated problem. It seems it works as expected but, check50 says it is wrong. When I do it manually it works. Manually: Date: 9/8/1636 1636-09-08

capture of manually tested

Results from check50:

results from check50

Full check50 results: full check50 results

Could not find the following in the output: 1636-09-08 Actual Output: Date:

In summary my program creates the correct output, but check50 says it doesn't (when it actually does).

How do I solve it? (or am I missing something?)

Check50 is inputting a space before the nine, like this: "_9/8/1636" (with the _ in place of a space). Does your code handle that?

  • Hi, thanks a lot!!! Now I understand what the problem is. No, my code doesn't handle the space before the number. Now I need to change my code to be able to handle it. Thanks a lot!!! PS: I'm new, how do I mark it as solved? Or do I need to do anything else?
