I added a Forgot Password?
Link on the login page under the submit button, but now the register link and the copyright text (the footer) are no longer center aligned- now they are left aligned. I changed the div tag to <div align="center">
for the register div, and it went back to the center, but the footer is still left aligned. For all the other pages it is center aligned. By the way this is the pset7 footer and login page that I am talking about. I did not change the footer.
Code:
<form action="login.php" method="post">
<fieldset>
<div class="form-group">
<input autofocus class="form-control" name="username" placeholder="Username" type="text"/>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<input class="form-control" name="password" placeholder="Password" type="password"/>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<button type="submit" class="btn btn-default">Log In</button>
</div>
</fieldset>
</form>
</div class = "form-group">
<a href="forgot-password.php">Forgot Password?</a>
</div>
<div align = "center">
or <a href="register.php">register</a> for an account
</div>
Thanks, David
forgot password
in a form group? Also you have a typo and you close the tag instead of opening it (</div class = "form-group"> <a href="forgot-password.php">Forgot Password?</a> </div>
). Also what do you mean by footer? Theor register for an account
apears centered to me. Only theForgot password
is left aligned, but you haven't specified alignment for this div.
