Is it possible to upgrade from a certificate to "real Harvard," if you start the class in the late summer (i.e., are there any deadlines)?

This option gives you a Harvard Extension School transcript, hand-graded assignments, an actual grade, and course credit, among other things. It costs a chunk of change.

While there is a lot of talk about upgrading from Honors to Verified, I have not seen this question in my searches here or on Facebook addressed by Prof. Malan or anyone else. A thread on reddit may apply, but the user does not mention a transcript and other perks, only a certificate.

Yes, I'm doing this. The semester runs from 2 September to 20 December. You can register up until 9 September, however if you register after 2 September you pay an additional $50 registration fee.

Registration is limited to 200 (currently at 75), so if you wait too long you might go onto the waiting list, which has extra requirements.
