It seems that cs50 2017 /less and /more comfortable versions of psets are somehow swapped. I got confused several times during working through psets where I found less comfortable versions to be easier and more beginner friendly than more comfortable solutions.

Anyone else on 2017 version shares same opinion, or I'm missing something....

Thanks, and happy coding!

Not being an English native speaker, I think that's what those are supposed to be.

"less comfortable" means you're less comfortable with the subject, and don't want to spend an entire week on one small programme.

"more comfortable" means those loops are boring and you might need some more challenging task.

Which doesn't mean you couldn't do the "more comfortable" if you found the "less comfortable" in that pset too easy...

  • I got your point, definitely it is like that. From the way I see it is like less comfortable version and more comfortable version.... as they mention it while submitting, for example: Submit the less-comfortable version of ..... the way I would interpret it at first would be submit the less comfortable solution for the pset...if you got my point... anyway thanks for replying
