I obviously need to compare my code to the staff version character-by-character. Can't for the life of me find the problem that results in:

jharvard@appliance (~/Dropbox/pset1): check50 2014/x/pset1/hello hello.c
:) hello.c exists
:) hello.c compiles
:( prints "hello, world\n"
   \ expected output, but not "hello, world!\n"

    You don't have access to the staff's source file; only their executable for obvious reasons. Remove the ! from your print statement.
