I want to submit the source code for problem set 1 . But I don't have the cs50 appliance . So what should I do?

You can submit using chrome without the appliance. I have never submitted a pset within the appliance and it works fine. You will need the appliance for later psets though.
I would recommend to get appliance installed on your machine as alciregi mentioned, because it will be badly required in further psets.
But for temporary purpose, although this is not recommended, but test this and tell whether it works or not.
Head to CS50 Submit from your browser(most probably Google Chrome), Log in if it prompts and then follow this except the first step.
Please be sure to comment whether it works or not. Even if it works, still I would recommend you to get appliance. Good Luck.
