I just downloaded the distribution code for PSET7 and whenever I try to run the flask server with flask run, I keep getting this error in my browser

ide50-rotimi-babalola.cs50.io didn’t send any data.

I've tried deleting and downloading the distribution code again but it doesn't work.

Has anyone encountered this and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance!

  • Any output on the terminal about which URL your browser requested, and maybe error messages? Not sure what the distribution code looks like, but I would expect a TODO message at least.

  • That's the weird thing @Blauelf my console is blank. The only error I see is in the Networks Tab in dev tools is this error - (failed) net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE for this URL http://ide50-rotimi-babalola.cs50.io:8080/login

  • After some investigation @Blauelf I think the problem may be with the login_required decorator. It redirects to the /login url but it does not render the login.html template

  • This can be caused by antivirus/firewall as reported here.

  • I use a MacBook @DinoCoderSaurus and I've turned off my firewall but I'm still having this issue
