Holy shoot, the problem was very strange and im not sure why that is,the problem lied in the sell part:

if not request.form.get("symbol") or request.form.get("symbol") not in SYMBOLS:

When i removed the request.form.get("symbol") not in SYMBOLS, the error was gone Staff should look into it i dont know why check50 doesnt recognize that.

ids=session["user_id"]
    symboul=db.execute("SELECT symbol FROM history WHERE id=?",ids)
    for i in symboul:
        for j in i:
            SYMBOLS.add(i[j])
    print(SYMBOLS)
    return render_template("sell.html",symbouls=SYMBOLS)

My history table inserts a new values for every transactions.SO I extracted every symbol from the history of one persons id,ie that persons history, then i made a loop to select the stock name from it,and i put it into a set called SYMBOLS (so that it will remove duplicates).

  • Notice from the check50 log that the test doesn't do a GET call to sell prior to the POST call. Therefore SYMBOLS is not populated; that's why check50 doesn't recognize it. Commented Oct 15, 2021 at 10:44
  • That's why it didnt work, so when i run, it looks for get and then get populated and moves to sell where symbols is populated and values are shown in table,whereas in check50 it looks for post at first and see thats the SYMBOLS IS EMPTY and returns the error .So if i remove that error check then the sell POST knows that the SYMBOL is empty and moves on to calculate and then it moves on to GET where SYMBOL get populated and the check50 get the value and hence it shows it's correct. Thanks for the info was really curious. Learned something new.
