I am trying to submit the first problem on cs50AI, degrees, using git from vs code locally. I have both added and committed the files I want, and when I use this git command: git push https://github.com/me50/(my username).git ai50/projects/2024/x/degrees I get this error message src refspec ai50/projects/2024/x/degrees does not match any

That's not how you push to git. You have to set up a remote properly first. Did you do a git add remote to start or a git clone or a git init? Your git push command should be likely git push origin master. You are pushing to YOUR branch. You don't push by naming a file.

you need to git add YOURFILE first, then git commit then git push.
