For pset2 - crack, I've run style50 and got a "Looks good!" but upon submitting, my style grade is marked as 4 out of 5. I see this question has been asked in the past and the solution usually was "run update50" but I did and style50 still doesn't highlight any issues.

I even checked and followed the style guide (https://manual.cs50.net/style) very closely, and still I can't get a 5 out of 5.

Is anyone else experiencing this or has any thoughts on what I could be missing?

  • Have you checked all the code files being submitted against style50? Are you sure that the file being submitted is the same file that you checked locally?

style50 will be run against every code file in your submission. Did you submit any other files than crack.c?

Please run update50 to get the latest style50 version and then rerun your code to find the style problems to be fixed.

You can then resubmit your code for grading.
