I'm stuck on the hello.c file. My code is:

int main(void)

{
    printf("hello, world\n");
}

I've checked to make sure that I'm in the right directory. However, when I type make hello, the terminal gives an error:

  • This has all the characteristics of trying to compile a file without a main() section. I see that your code posted above doesn't have any #includes, meaning that it wouldn't compile. Can you edit your code to show the entire contents of hello.c? Also, did you use the command make hello or something different, even slightly different? Finally, please post a listing of the contents of the current directory. Use the command ls to list the files.
