I keep reading about how people on here use "peek" to check the header info for pset4. I found that peek is a program under ~cs50/pset4 and when I run it it says- Usage: file [file]

What am I supposed to do with it?

The usage is as follows

./resize 4 small.bmp student.bmp
~cs50/pset4/resize 4 small.bmp staff.bmp
~cs50/pset4/peek student.bmp staff.bmp

Which should let you compare headers of student.bmp and staff.bmp

  • How do I get the staff's implementation of resize.c to resize small.bmp when there is no copy of it in ~cs50/pset4? Commented Sep 28, 2016 at 18:08
  • There should be one. If you don't have one I'm not exactly sure how to get one. Try update50, or you can ask another question. Commented Sep 28, 2016 at 19:10
