I have just started pset 8 and I am just reading through the documentations, and also thinking abt the final project, just had an idea and now the thought of it is taking my attention away from my pset8 so just wanna ask so that I can continue with my pset8, is there a way to connect to a database of some other website from another website and see if the value exsist in that database? Provided you are creating both the websites

The more specific question would be whether the code on one web server can access a database on another server. Assuming that the proper permissions can be set up, then yes, you should be able to directly access another database rather than going through a web page.
It may also be possible to access a remote database through its web pages too. It would require writing code to interact with the web page, but it is possible.
