I've got the three programs (hello, mario, and greedy) ready to submit but I can't get past Chrome, I have trouble remembering passwords, and they want to know the date I first signed up for Chrome. Is there some other way to submit?

  • I got past chrome by signing in as a new member. Now I can't find the submit button. I tried entering "cs50 submit", but it didn't get me the submit button they said would appear in the upper left corner.

  • Within the cs50 appliance, open up the application "Terminal" (by clicking on the Terminal icon in the panel) and after where it says jharvard@appliance (~): type update50.

What do you not remember? If it is your Google password (to sign into Chrome), you should hopefully have some password recovery options... but even if you can't get Chrome to work, you can sign into CS50x without signing into Chrome. Unless you have lost your edX password, too. If so, you can use their password recovery options too.

Go to https://courses.edx.org/login and click the "Forgot password?" link. Enter your e-mail address, and they'll send you an email about your password. Then you will use this same password to log in to submit your psets.

  • I haven't forgotten my edx PW, where do I put "cs50x", when I dumped Chrome I could find a place on the appliance to put it.
