I imported numpy for the more comfortable version of the similarities excerise. I already pip install numpy in my IDE and the code work smoothly.

However, when i run check50, it didnt work as it stated that there is no module named "numpy".

Any one has any idea how can i work around that? Thanks a lot

As per the instructions for pset6/similarities(more comfortable) there is no need to run pip install and no need to install numpy package. The numpy is pre-installed in cs50-ide and by the way just try to download the files for the pset, run flask and then test your code, check50 and finish. If the error continues to appear let me know, and if not then please put a check mark on the answer keeping up the forum maintenance!

  • Hi sk.76: I am having the same problem, I have installed the files for the pset but when I want to test a piece of code including "import numpy" at the top I get the same error message: "No module named 'numpy'". Do you know how to solve this?
