I have tried recompiling again and resubmitting but it's still uploading the old version.

-rwx------ 1 ubuntu ubuntu 17440 Mar 30 04:00 cash*
-rw-r--r-- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 788 Mar 30 00:18 cash.c

~/ $ cd pset1
~/pset1/ $ make cash
clang -ggdb3 -O0 -std=c11 -Wall -Werror -Wextra -Wno-sign-compare -Wno-unused-parameter -Wno-unused-variable -Wshadow cash.c -lcrypt -lcs50 -lm -o cash
~/pset1/ $ style50 cash.c
Results generated by style50 v2.7.4
Looks good!
~/pset1/ $ submit50 cs50/problems/2021/x/cash

Files that will be submitted:
./cash.c

  • Unfortunately, there isn't much for us to go on here to come to any sort of helpful answer. Can you edit your question to show a screen shot of your terminal showing the commands for the recompilation and submission? Commented Mar 30, 2021 at 0:40
  • Is it possible that you edited one version of your code and then ran submit50 from a directory containing an older version? Or did you change the filename?

  • Why do you say it's uploading an older version? What is the timestamp on the updated version? The long listing alias can be used to show everything in the pset1 directory: ~/ $ ll pset1

  • @RobertS.Pratt weird, they have different time stamps, I guess that is the problem? -rwx------ 1 ubuntu ubuntu 17440 Mar 30 04:00 cash* -rw-r--r-- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 788 Mar 30 00:18 cash.c ( I added to the top too so you can see better
