bash: update50: command not found

How can I fix this problem?

Are you sure you are using the right version of appliance? As of last year the CS50 Appliance 2014 is being used. I see you are using the CS50 Appliance 3 version. Go here https://manual.cs50.net/appliance/2014/#instructions and follow the instructions.
