I'm trying to left align text in a table in pset7 and none of the CSS code I write in styles.css is having any affect whatsoever. I even went as far as giving an "id" to an individual "td" element and nothing.

I can even delete lines from styles.css that came with the download and there is still no difference. For instance deleting text-align: center from .container does nothing.

Would really appreciate some help, been stuck on this for hours. :/

  • have you tried shift-reload or ctrl-F5 to clear the browser's cache?

Reset to default

shift-reload or ctrl-F5 will clear the browser's cache and (should) reload your css file.
