Flask/Python PSET9 Finance -- Using PRINT() to debug

Question

Having some problems with INDEX that I figure printing variable content to console will help me solve. BUT no matter what I try, print(variable) doesn't result in anything at all on the console/terminal.

cash = db.execute("SELECT cash from USERS where id = ?", user_id)
print(cash)

Your help is greatly appreciated! :-)

The console log is very "busy", especially if there is a traceback. Suggest you make the output stand out more. Something like print("YOU ARE HERE>>>>>>: ",cash). Adding newlines ("\n" before and after the text may give additional visual cues.
