I always get the following messsage when I try to compile breakout in PSET3.

jharvard@appliance (~/Dropbox/CS50/pset3/pset3/breakout): make breakout clang -ggdb3 -O0 -std=c99 -Wall -Werror -Wno-unused-variable -o breakout breakout.c -lcs -lm /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcs clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

I haven't make any changes to the code. I am just trying to compile what I unzipped.

Do I have something set up wrong. I have read scores of Q & A's online regarding similar issues but have not found a solution that works in my case.

what version of the appliance are you running? you can see it in the bar at the bottom of the screen, it sould read 2014-29.

if it is a different number, you should use update50.
