I am taking CS50x on edx and I have upgraded to the verified certificate track, I have finished all the psets and the final project by July 31st and got 100% on all of them except for speller which was 71%, however after "CS50 me" got updated my grade dropped to 60% and I haven't noticed that until today so I tried to resubmit speller but my grade dropped again to 20%! The thing is that I am applying to a local program that requires me to have previous programming knowledge and I need the certificate as a proof, but the certificates are issued monthly and I am afraid I missed this month's certificates, is there any way to solve this issue?

Hey Issam, what's your GitHub username? I'll take a look!– Brian YuCommented Aug 7, 2017 at 17:32

Is it possible that your speller program didn't pass valgrind? check50 has recently been upgraded to also check for memory leaks, which will now be part of the scoring. If speller wasn't 100%, then there's a good chance it also had memory leaks. I think the solution to your problem will be to go back and rework your program so that it passes with 100% and passes valgrind.– Cliff BCommented Aug 7, 2017 at 17:37

since you had a qualifying grade before the CS50.me upgrade, I've adjusted your score in the new gradebook to reflect that. All new submissions, however, will be graded using the new check50
, which does check for memory leaks in speller
using valgrind
.
