After a couple of weeks break I've returned to finish Pset5 to find that the CS50 IDE is now CS50 IDE Beta and all of my files are missing. I now have only one folder in my root directory called 'lost+found'. Does anyone know what has happened here?

Many thanks

Your old IDE should still be accessible at http://cs50.io

There will soon be instructions there to move the files to the new IDE, but in the meantime, you can do this:

  1. go to your legacy workspace
  2. right-click on your workspace folder and click Download to download a zip to your host
  3. go to the beta IDE (http://ide.cs50.io) , File > Upload Local Files ... > Select files > choose the zip and upload it
  4. unzip the zip in a terminal

  • Many thanks for your response. I actually realised that my workspace was still available directly from cloud 9's site and I have now downloaded my files.

Workspace was still available directly from cloud 9's site (https://c9.io/login) and I have now downloaded my files.
