I am trying to access http://finance.cs50.net/ to see the staff's implementation of the project but I'm getting a 503 Service Unavailable error.

How can I resolve this?

A 503 Service Unavailable error is usually a temporary one, as this one turned to be. It usually indicates that the server is either overloaded or undergoing maintenance. The web server is still accessible, as it's able to display the error page, but the website is not.

  • The best thing to do when encountering this type of error is to try again later.

  • If the error doesn't resolve itself by then, and if no one else is experiencing it, you may try restarting your router and computer, just in case there is a problem with your own DNS server configuration.

  • As a last resort you may contact the website administrators, in this case the CS50 staff, to notify them of the problem.

This is solved. The site is back online.
