When I first encountered the error when downloading the pset3.zip file for problem set 3, I wasn't very worried because the pset3 html had directions on what to do for when that happened. It said that the probable cause was no internet connection, and that I simply had to log off and re-log back into the appliance. After trying that multiple times, I still have the 'unable to resolve host address' message. I looked in the settings of the appliance, it seems to be connected to the internet, but I'm not too sure (there are three wireless connections). Am I missing something? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Are you sure you are executing the following command as it is?
wget http://cdn.cs50.net/2014/fall/psets/3/pset3/pset3.zip
For me it works fine, so it's not a problem on their side. Can you browse the internet from Chrome? If not there is something wrong with your connection. If you can, click the following URL and it should download the zip file. http://cdn.cs50.net/2014/fall/psets/3/pset3/pset3.zip

Yes I am executing that exact command. I do believe it is a problem with the connection in my appliance, because chrome cannot load any webpages. I don't have any idea how to fix this connection problem however. I did the step they suggested by logging out than re-logging in, but it does not work. Are there any other methods that I could use to try and fix the connection?– asun77Commented Aug 23, 2015 at 15:47

Do you think I should just reinstall the appliance? All of my files are saved in my dropbox.– asun77Commented Aug 23, 2015 at 15:55

yes I did, but then I upgraded to windows 10, then the internet in the appliance stopped working.– asun77Commented Aug 23, 2015 at 16:46

Then if you don't mind, I think you should delete the appliance and reinstall it, making sure you have backed up your source codes. It's easier than trying to fix the problem itself I think.– ChrisGCommented Aug 23, 2015 at 16:48
