first there were some permission errors so apache won't work. After some help I ran a few commands and the permission errors went away but now on opening phpMyAdmin and cs50 finance some weird php code shows up. Because of this I m unable to start my pset. On opening the web server following screen shows up enter image description here

same happens for phpMyadmin but with a much much larger code

  • That "weird PHP code" is index.php. Open that file for editing and you'll see. It seems like your PHP interpreter is not working correctly. Unfortunately, I'm not the right person to help you fix it. Hopefully someone else will answer you soon. Good luck! Commented Nov 2, 2016 at 19:50
  • Is there any way to reset the IDE or undo any changes ??@matt Commented Nov 3, 2016 at 3:38

There is a way to reset the IDE without fixing the PHP interpreter.

You can create a new workspace. Go to https://cs50.io/sharmapranjal and click on the big gray square that says "+ Create a new workspace".

In the screen that follows, you will be prompted to "Choose a template ..."

Choose a template

Be sure to select the last one in the list: "Harvard's CS50".

Then start pset7 in the new workspace and leave all your old work in the old one.

Hope this helps!
