The unknown type string error results because the cs50.h file wasn't found for the include statement.

What is your development environment? You need to follow the instructions given early in the class on how to set up your environment so that the cs50.h and other support files are available to your environment. If you haven't done this, then the include statement will fail.

You might want to click this link for setup info. You can also google "cs50 setup" to find numerous pages and videos on this.

If you cure the environment configuration issue, both errors will disappear.
