Chrome just doesn't cooperate. I googled a bit and it turns out this happened. If I skip this, will I be able to receive the CS50 certificate? If not, please SAVE me! How can I resolve this?

Yes, you can skip it according to a user on reddit forum.
I don't know if this is 100% accurate, but I do recall seeing this mentioned elsewhere, and I had a similar problem and was unable to complete pset8.
