I'm getting this response on my terminal even after configuring my dropbox:
nothing to be done for conditions
when I type make conditions
, is there anything that I'm missing? When I type ./conditions.0
it says there is no such directory.

As @lethaljd has pointed out, make sure you're in the same directory as the file named conditions.c then execute
make conditions
You can change directories using the cd
command. Also, the produced executable should be named conditions NOT ./conditions.0 unless specified otherwise.
I wasn't using Dropbox, but I got the same error. I discovered that I had named the source code file conditions-0
instead of conditions-0.c
. The compiler doesn't know what to do without the .c
extension.
Here is a dropbox link to the screenshot on how I have been tackling the conditions problem. https://www.dropbox.com/home/cs50
