I'm getting this response on my terminal even after configuring my dropbox:

nothing to be done for conditions

when I type make conditions, is there anything that I'm missing? When I type ./conditions.0 it says there is no such directory.

  • is your terminal "in" the folder where the conditions file is?

As @lethaljd has pointed out, make sure you're in the same directory as the file named conditions.c then execute

make conditions

You can change directories using the cd command. Also, the produced executable should be named conditions NOT ./conditions.0 unless specified otherwise.

  • @Sydney what's the full path exactly? Also, could you post a screenshot of you trying to make your program?

I wasn't using Dropbox, but I got the same error. I discovered that I had named the source code file conditions-0 instead of conditions-0.c. The compiler doesn't know what to do without the .c extension.

Here is a dropbox link to the screenshot on how I have been tackling the conditions problem. https://www.dropbox.com/home/cs50
