When I make the appliance window full screen or make it bigger, it ether shrinks the window back, or has a black "buffer" area around the appliance. appliance

I am using Windows 7. I am using the 2014 appliance in the 2014 course. If it helps, I am also having an issue with copying and pasting here. Nether of these problems occur in appliance 99(2013 version). Any thoughts? Thanks!

Reset to default

In the command line try typing:

sudo vmware-user

Then you should be able to use Unity (in the View tab) which allows larger windows on your native Windows 7 screen.

@glennholloway and @jaques.gillis on cs50's slack group helped me with that.
