This is how I checked using Ubuntu whether or not the check50 and submit50 commands were already installed. However, in my Visual Studio Code the commands are still not found. What should I do? It has been 3 weeks now and I still can't find a solution to this problem.

Your screenshot shows: "invalid slug" which means that check50/submit50 are working fine, but you didn't type the correct problem identifier (ie "slug").

Be sure you are running the command exactly as shown in the spec:

check50 cs50/problems/2022/python/indoor

To submit, change that to

submit50 cs50/problems/2022/python/indoor

---***---

Based on your edit:

You need to be in the indoor folder. Also, your terminal prompt looks all wrong for the CS50 Codespace. If you are in the codespace, type cd enter. You should then have a $ prompt. Then cd indoor to move into that folder. Now you can run check50.

  • Hello! Even if I used the correct slug, still, the commands don't work :( This is why I edited the slug (as seen on the screenshot), hoping I would finally be able to submit. Unfortunately, I still am not able to. None of the solutions I've researched seem to work, or maybe I just don't really know how to apply them.
