I ALSO TRIED DOWNLOADING VSCODE and connecting it but it just doesnt open and says that it is the old version try downloding the new version of github but it doesnt download also HAVE A LOOK

Reset to default

You can access your codespace on https://github.com/codespaces and delete the codespace, then going back on to https://cs50.dev and build a new one.

Building a codespace usually takes some time as well.
