I'm using windows 10 home as a host OS and using VMware 12.0.0 build-2985596. I'm having problem with copy and pasting anything from my appliance to my windows 10. I tried guest isolation thing in the options of virtual machine settings but the copy & paste and drag & drop option is grayed out when I'm actually working. It opens back when the virtual machine shuts down. Is there any way ?

  • I have same problem but my iso is mounted and vmtools is installed. Guest isolation is greyed out

Make sure you have VMware tools installed. I think you will find it under VM -> Manage. If it is stippled (greyed out) make sure you have a CD Rom mounted to linux.iso. Something like VM -> Settings->Hardware->add->CD/DVD-> ISO. This article may help.
