The VMware player loads the .ova file till 99% and then gives an error which states that it has lost connection to the file. What do I do now?

I tried the above suggested, but VMware never told me the error specifically. Oracle Virtualbox told me that the .ova file was corrupted, so I re-downloaded that file, and now the appliance works just fine.

That happened to me as well, but I managed to get it to load fully on the 2nd or 3rd try.
